Do I still need a CPA if I use AP Bookkeeping? +
Yes — and that's the point. AP Bookkeeping keeps your books clean all year so that when you hand them to a CPA at tax time, they have everything they need and your bill goes down. Many clients find their CPA fees drop significantly after starting with a professional bookkeeper. We handle the day-to-day records; your CPA files the taxes.
What if my books are completely behind or a disaster? +
That's one of the most common situations we start with. We'll quote a separate catch-up project first at $85/hour — usually completed in 2–4 weeks — then begin the monthly engagement from a clean baseline. Don't let messy books be the reason you don't get started.
What does your satisfaction guarantee actually mean? +
If after your first full month of service you're not satisfied with the quality of work, we'll correct any issues at no charge. If you're still not happy after that, we'll waive the rest of your minimum term commitment — no questions asked. We stand behind the work.
I don't currently use QuickBooks — is that a problem? +
Not at all. If you're using spreadsheets or nothing at all, we'll set you up in QuickBooks Online as part of onboarding. QuickBooks Online runs about $35/month on your own subscription — we'll help you set it up and configure it correctly for your business type from day one.
How do I send you documents each month? +
For most clients we connect QuickBooks directly to their bank and credit card accounts, which pulls transactions automatically. For receipts and additional documents, we'll set up a shared folder or simple email system — whatever takes the least effort on your end.
Are you available if I'm not in Tennessee? +
Absolutely. All services are fully remote. Tennessee is our home market but we serve clients across the country via QuickBooks Online, email, and video call. Geography is no barrier to clean books.
How does the $25 referral credit work? +
